Metro Copenhagen – Cityringen – Extension Sydhavn

In September 2019 the project Cityringen was inaugurated and put into operation in the Copenhagen Metro network. Ever since, the 15.5km-long double-tracked ring line is in operation 24/7. In March 2020 the inauguration of the 4.7km-long double-tracked extension to Nordhavn followed.

Vigier Rail has provided these two projects with a total of more than 120'000 LVT (Low Vibration Track) supports. All of the delivered LVT supports have been sustainably transported by rail.

In February 2021 Vigier Rail was assigned to provide over 19'000 LVT supports for the Sydhavn extension. The Sydhavn extension is the next part of the project Cityringen. The delivery of the LVT supports shall be completed in December 2021.
