Albula Tunnel – Production of LVT blocks is underway

The 6-km slab track of the Albula Tunnel in Switzerland will be equipped with the Low Vibration Track system. The production of nearly 20’000 LVT blocks is currently ongoing at Vigier Rail’s facilities in Müntschemier. The LVT supports will reach the installation site by 2023.

The installation of about 6 km of LVT track in the Albula tunnel is scheduled for May 2023. Sonneville and Vigier Rail would like to thank the client and all project participants for their efforts in the project and their trust in our track technology.
